Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the effects of secondary star to the evolution of systems called cataclysmic variables which is consisting of a white dwarf and an other star that transfers mass to the white dwarf, has been studied with a detailed literature search. Also light changes, obtained in TÜBİTAK National Observatory (TUG) and Ege University Observatory, of DQ Her and V405 Aur systems which are classified as subclass of cataclysmic variables called IPs and are presented.
