Structural and reinforced concrete solutions of pile foundations with analitical methods

Pile foundations are commonly used to transmit the superstructure's load to the soil safely in the case of unsuitable soil conditions in modern days. Lots of methods were developed to fix the behavior of pile foundations under lateral and vertical loads. Design of pile foundation is made based on the acceptance of these solution methods, the reasonable approximation of engineering judgments, and the computer program results solving the complex problems easily. In the literatural part of this study, the behavior of lateral and vertical loaded piles and pile groups are investigated. In the practical part of this study, the single piles are solved by using SAP 2000 Structural Analysis Program. In the conclusion part of this study, same results are given by using solved examples.
