Research for Kemaliye(Eğin) region folk music

Kemaliye (Eğin) which is one of the first place where the Turks has settled, thanks that it was also one of the most important place before the Turks it could give important works in every fields of the culture and it has proved itself on central view. Music which is one of these culture yields has explored in this work. Kemaliye has proved it difference in Turkish Folk Music field. Especially, the music type which has described as hazel eye are the most important examples to show the cultural harmony in difference easily. İn this work it is aimed to make scientific commentaries about Kemaliye region Turkish Folk Music on roots, structure and performance after the researches. The composition works which has made in İstanbul and Erzincan Kemaliye and sound records has restricted in 54 songs after the survey. 54 Kemaliye songs has made notes with their different musical interpretations and surveyed with their different aspects. After these surveys it is understood that Kemaliye songs are 2/4 mode which alike to Hüseyni tune and has 60-79 metronom value and uses 4. and 5. grade voices, it has seen that it has a value which occures in 1 octave area.
