Self leadership includes three important strategeis; behavior focal strategies, natural reward strategies, model of thinking maker strategies. The objective of this research is to compare the self leadership strategy levels of the managers working as principal and vice principal in government and private schools. To achieve general answers for problems related to this research study and further, mixed analysis method is used. with that, so called timely mixed method researches, the reasons of inventions achieved by quantitative method which is asked to those participients who illustrated the researchs and from whom the data is collected by survey, as well as from profession experts interpretations is also accepted. İn this way it is brought to more wide and extensive state by miscellaneous of quantitative and qualitative data sets. In the dimensions qualitative of this mixed method used researchs, technique of conservation is used for data collection method. The quantative datas of this research is collected from total 230 school administrators working in 25 private and 65 government schools attached to district Şahinbey and Şehitkâmil of Gaziantep city. Analysis is done by talk with each of them by the way of survey. For interpretaation of quantative findings, conservation is done with 8 adminstrator of 3 private and 5 government schools which is determined by using the simple illustration method. Data which is collected through self leadership criterion and the features of demographic illustration done by frequency analysis compared with each other. T-tests has been done to determine levels of self leadership of government and private school adminstrators and differences in order to look strategies they apply. In the results of tests, indespite of determination of expressive difference in self leadership and basic target designation; the meaningful differences couldn't determined in order to strategies of self talking, self reward, evalmation of thinking/idea and self punishment.
