Abstract (EN)
The historical city center of Kayseri has been the settlement of different civilizations in different periods of history since ancient times and has become a religious, administrative, scientific and commercial center by settling different cultures. Many buildings in the city square, of which there are examples from the Roman, Seljuk, Ottoman and Early Republican periods, have survived and are in use. With the determination of this historical building in the city square, the research limit was determined by making a survey and mind map to the users living there. The contribution of the buildings on the determined border to the legibility of the square was investigated through Kevin Lynch.
