Abstract (EN)

About 1/3 of the herbal products consumed by humans are directly and/or indirectly dependent on pollinators. There is a mutualistic relationship between pollinators and flowering plants. Flowering plants mostly rely on pollinators to maintain their sustainability. The decrease in pollinators also raises concerns about the continuity of plant resources. Pollinator populations are declining due to land degradation, agricultural activities, urbanization, climate change etc. In the face of this situation, landscape studies dealing with the pollinator-plant relationship are given place around the world. Within the scope of this study, the species that attract pollinators from natural flowering plants growing in EskiĢehir Türkmen Mountain were evaluated for use in plant designs in urban landscape. As a result of the research, 57 plant species were observed in 13 different locations. Considering the pollinator-plant relationship of these plants and their use in the urban landscape, 35 plant species belonging to 16 families and 30 genera of pollinators belonging to 23 families were determined. Although there are few scientific studies on the use of natural plants in urban landscape studies, this situation is even less in practice. In order to use the determined plant species as plant material in landscape studies, there is a need to examine the production methods. Bringing these plants into landscaping will increase the biodiversity of the city, and the use of plants with different colors and forms will attract the attention of the public, as well as areas with low maintenance costs will be established.
