Abstract (EN)
Investigation of Crayfish Plague by Advanced Diagnostic Techniques. At this work, for investigation of the existence of Aphanomyces astaci, at July, August, September, October, November, December in 2007, 180 crayfish from İznik and 180 crayfish from Eğirdir lakes, a total of 360 crayfish was collected by random sampling. 56 A.astaci suspected fungal isolates were obtained from 360 live crayfish samples used in this work. 30 of the 180 samples from the Iznik Lake (%16.6) and 26 of the 180 from the Eğridir lake (% 14.4) were suspected A.astaci fungal isolates. With the conventional and molecular examinations of the suspected isolates, these fungal isolates were found not to be A.astaci.Key words: Aphanomyces astaci, isolation, identification, PCR
