Abstract (EN)
In this study, it?s aimed to strengthen bending area of reinforced concrete beam by using FRP fabrics. CFRP and GFRP fabrics have been wrapped on both sides, to the lower surface of beam in which bending effects occurs by tensile stress and upward from sides of beams at L/4 distance. 9 reinforced beams are fabricated as an experimental element in the study. The load-displacement behavior, ductility, and energy absorbing capacity of these strengthened concrete beams have been investigated. CFRP textiles have been glued by 90º and 45º angles to the shearing area of the beams fabricated insufficiently in shearing. It?s observed after the reinforcement that the shearing capacity of the beams has increased by % 60. It?s also determined that there isn?t any considerable difference between CFRP implementations by 45º and 90º.
