Abstract (EN)
Among the Hellenistic Period ceramic groups, mould made bowls have a significant place in Anatolia. Mould made bowls include regional differences within themselves inside and outside of Anatolia. There has been an interaction among the location centers as a result of the universal philosophy of the period. Mould made bowls were started to be produced with the inspiration of metal bowls and they were condensely produced and used especially in the 2nd century B.C. in Anatolia. Comparing to form developments, bowls are labelled and dated with their decoration specialities. Mould made bowls are separated into groups such as pine cone, imbricate, floral, floral-figured, imbricate, long petals, and net figured patterns. Among these groups, exact transitions are very few in terms of dating.While located in Gölhisar Burdur today, Kibyra was in the center of Likya, Karia, Phrigia, and Pisidia in ancient times. It is the capital city of Kibyratis with Its widerspread area and magnificant consturctions. During the Hellenistic and Rome Period, Kibyra must have an importance in aspect of ceramic production in Anatolia. Excavation studies maintained by Burdur Museum, Akdeniz University, and Mehmet Akif University and qualities - quantities of ceramics, obtained from surface researches, have proved this argument since 2006.Kibyra mould made bowls have quite original decorations styles. Lots of figures used in here have not been present among materials of the cities which have been published so far. Moulds obtained from excavation studies and surface researches and false produced materials in the cities give us the information about the city production.Among the mould made bowls which have been gained in Kibyra since 2006, the peak groups are the ones which have herbal and figured decorations and according to the recent researhes these groups have been used with pleasure from the beginning to the mids of the 2nd century B.C. Among these groups, pine cone figured bowls gained in the cities, reflect the latest features of the period and they belong to the mids of the 2nd century B.C. Little leafdecorated bowls were made quite painstakingly and produced from the mids of the 2nd century to the mids of the 1st century B.C. Ion kymation, bay bunch, meander, spiral and gioş figures, bobin-pearl line, bull heads, dolphins were preferred decorations for the frames. For medallions petalled flowers were generally preferred.Imported materials does not exist among the examined ones; however, within these materials, production features of Pergamon, Ephesos, and Sardis have been fixed.Key Words : 1) Kibyra 2) Moldmade 3) Hellenistic 4) Pottery
