Abstract (EN)
Nowadays different dioxaborinan compounds are used effectively in synthetic chemistry and in the fields of medicine and industrial application. These compounds with different chemical structures have found a place in a wide variety of industrial processes due to their spectroscopic properties and their rich history in chemistry application. Boronic acids are known to react readily and reversibly with diols to form dioxaborinan compounds. Because dioxaborinan compounds are reversible, they are also used to form complex structures such as macrocycles, dendrimers, helices, nanotubes or porous covalent organic frameworks. The reason for the stability is due to the decrease in the ring tension when the geometry of the boron atom changes from the trigonal plane to the tetrahedral geometry. In order to overcome these potential problems, it is necessary to synthesize dioxaborinan compounds in the Dean-Stark system under suitable conditions. The production of organic cyclic carbonates as valuable fine chemicals was achieved using a green and sustainable catalyst and an environmentally friendly CO2 fixation. A series of novel boron compounds (B1 and B2) and chiral groups containing different dioxaborinan compounds (B1a-1d and B2a-2d) have been synthesized and characterized as the metal-free organocatalyts for the synthesis of cyclic organic carbonates via CO2 insertion various epoxides under suitable conditions. The prepared novel boron compounds (B1 and B2) and chiral groups containing different dioxaborinan compounds (B1a-1d and B2a-2d) were characterized by NMR (1H, 13C, and 11B) spectra, FT-IR spectra, UV-Vis spectra, LC-MS/MS spectrometry, elemental analysis, and melting point measurement techniques. After the structures of novel boron compounds (B1 and B2) and chiral groups containing different dioxaborinan compounds (B1a-1d and B2a-2d) compounds were characterized in detail, all boron compounds have been used as a organocatalyts for the cycloaddition reaction of CO2 to epoxides under atmospheric and different pressure in the presence of 4-dimethyl aminopyridine (DMAP) as base. In the first part of the study, the performance of boron-based Lewis acid for the cycloaddition reaction of CO2 to epoxides was carried out under atmospheric conditions using styrene oxide (SO) and hexene oxide (EPH) as a substrate. Since the desired catalytic conversions could not be obtained in atmospheric conditions, the studies were carried out in a reactor with adjustable temperature and pressure under different conditions.
