LOAD FLOW AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF TURKISH REPUBLIC OFNORTHERN CYPRUS?S ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION ANDTRANSMISSION SYSTEM (2006-2010)(M.Sc. Thesis)Ogkioun K OSE CHOUSE NGAZ UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYAugust 2006ABSTRACTSome studies are performed to determine power generation and transmissionsystem elements, related to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus?s ElectricityProduction and Transmission System?s development plan between 2006-2010.These studies performed with a power system analysis software package, PSS/E(Power System Analysis for Engineering) by using Fixed Slope DecoupledNewton Raphson iterative method are load flow, contingency analysis and shortcircuit calculations. As a result of studies additional transformers, transmissionlines and electricity production units are determined.Science Code : 905.1.035Key Words : Load flow, Contingency analysis, Short circuit analysisPage Number : 169Adviser : Prof. Dr. Sezai D NÇER
