Abstract (EN)
The Institute of Social Sciences, May 2004 Supervisor Lecturer: Ayşe Gülriz GERMEN This study includes the technical use of modern clarinet which was started to use in late 1600' s by chalumeau, repertory and clarinet family. Clarinet family has different tones. So, this feature increase the variety of work of art clarinet family which have many kinds also have an important role among the instruments with its repertory. Moreover in this study it is mentioned the famous instrument makers who helped to improve the clarinet such as Johann Christop Denner, Ivan Müller, Theobald Boehm and their permanent innovation.
