The couplets obtained by this way have been categorized into colour, form and function. It's been found out that, very often, the eye is represented by narcissus, the eyebrow by the crescent and the eyelash by tîr. Of the beauty elements mentioned above, the eye has been the most commonly used by poets. Then come the glance, the eyebrow and the eyelash in sequence.
