Abstract (EN)

Art, which began with the existence of humanity, has shown change and transformation together with social events and phenomena. Many factors that affect human life, such as war, migration, and technology, have also influenced art and, in turn, directed it in line with the requirements of the era. As modern times progressed, the relationship between art and design increased, and many new fields emerged in their own right. Graphic design, urban design, and architectural design are examples of these. One of them, industrial design, besides containing all the elements of design in its definition, also possesses characteristics such as applicability to industry and suitability for mass production, thus encompassing a very broad field of study. In this context, one of its areas of interest is automobile design. However, it is not very possible to include automobile design among the industrial design products in which the direct influence of art is observed. In general observation, the leading factors in automobile design are based more on ergonomic, economic, and functional foundations. Nevertheless, in today's world, where visual culture has gained importance, together with the change in demands, the desire for identity and aesthetic pursuits in design has increased. For this reason, the subject of the study consists of the application of artificial intelligence approaches to automobile design, which holds a large potential for demand. Artificial intelligence technology is utilized in many areas. By using artificial intelligence, which is today's technology, in automobile designs, it has been aimed to redesign classical automobile models, which have continued their influence from past to present, together with the synthesis of technology and design.
