Formation of regional market for solution of small and medium sized enterprises's (smes)financial troubles and a model suggestion for Turkey

With their properties, advantages and their contributions to economy andemployment; Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) are followed closelyin all countries and they are in one-to-one correspondence with the developmentof the country?s economy. Although they are crucial in economy and social life,unfortunately SMEs cannot use capital markets effectively in providing financialresources in Turkey. When considered that SMEs will be at the heart of futureeconomies, it is extremely important that the necessary precautions shouldimmediately be taken to enable SMEs to benefit from capital markets in the mostefficient way.Due to this, the formation of a SMEs stock exchange, which will bothintegrate SMEs into these markets and attract the investors to the market, is aserious issue to be considered with great caution.
