Abstract (EN)

In conventional methods, electricity and heat energy are obtained in separate ways. In cogeneration units, which are one of the integrated energy systems, the gas turbine in the electricity generation system and the waste heat boilers are the system component at the turbine output where Exergy destruction and energy gain is highest for the evaluation of exhaust gases. The parameters affecting the thermal design of waste heat boilers and the efficiency and depreciation values affected by these parameters were examined. In the study, waste heat steam boiler with smoke pipe designed with different boiler diameters and different pipe diameters and sizes were examined. With the thesis, it was calculated that more efficient boilers could be produced in the same boiler diameter and depreciation times increased less than yield increases. As a result of the calculations in the study; which is being designed in accordance with the limitation of the system in the waste heat boiler, waste heat boiler measure 3800mm outer diameter within a pipe with an outer diameter of 33.4 mm to 2650 pieces made with thermal design energy efficiency 96,53%, Exergy efficiency with 70,80% was calculated.
