Abstract (EN)
Children are individuals who have an active role in shaping the future. Children who have a healthy and psychologically healthy development phase become individuals who benefit themselves and their environment in their future lives. In general, the development of children should be given importance in order to reach a healthy and conscious society. There is a great deal of responsibility for those who are in direct contact with children. The study has a theoretical quality and the method of scanning literature is used. Persons who will fulfill this responsibility are parents, siblings, teachers and other family elders and individuals for children next to the family. For children under protection and care, child care staff, foster family members, teachers, psychologists working in these institutions, health personnel, child educators and social workers. In this study, a research has been conducted on the role of child care staff in the psycho-social development of children under protection and care. In the study, the literature review method was used. Child care staff, who are a good problem solver, will also contribute positively to the psycho-social development of children under their responsibility. It takes the best possible control of a problem and eliminates the problems it may cause. It is also an example of how children with whom they are communicating can deal with problems.
