Abstract (EN)
In this study, of 142 moss samples collected from Köyceğiz and its surroundings (Muğla); because of being diagnosed under the microscope; 78 taxa (at species, subspecies, and variety level) belonging to 16 families and 48 genera were identified. The richest 3 families in terms of taxa number were respectively: Pottiaceae (20), Brachytheciaceae (13), Dicranaceae (7). Among the taxa determined according to the European International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), 70 taxa are in Low Risk (LC) category, 3 taxa are in Vulnerable (VU), 2 taxa are Near Threatened (NT), and one taxon is Data Deficient (DD), one taxon consists of species facing the Endangerment of Extinction (EN).
