It is seen that there are statistically meaningful differences between two groups when they appraise their health condition. (Ki-kare = 38,86, p < 0,000.) While only %5,3 of the elderly people who live at their homes feel themselves not fine, %19,1 of those who live in rest rooms feel themselves not fine. While the percentage of the elderly people who use their spare time effectively among the elderly people who live in rest rooms is %35,7,that among those who live at their homes is%60. It is seen that while most of the elderly people who live in rest rooms (%57) have no friend with whom they can share their feelings, most of the elderly people who live at their homes (%68) have.
