Abstract (EN)
Traditional children's games of Kırşehir province constitute an important part of the rich cultural distribution of the region. With this awareness, we aim to examine in detail the forgotten traditional children's games in Kırşehir and record these games and copy them to the next generations. Document analysis was conducted to show its evolution and cultural context. Field studies were carried out to observe how games are played and which games are popular among children, and then information about traditional children's games was collected through interviews with children, students, educators and local people in Kırşehir. As a result of our study, we saw that many games played in Kırşehir were completely forgotten and most of them were almost forgotten. Our aim to make these traditional children's games, which have been forgotten and are about to be forgotten due to the developing negative effects, become a part of our culture by reviving them again and again, shows that our work and similar epidemics have emerged. Key Words: game, child, digital games, children's games.
