Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, regional memorological and hydrological droughts were examined for the Küçük Menderes Basin. For meteorological drought, indices were calculated using the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) for monthly, 3 month, 6 month, 12 month and 24 month time periods for Ödemiş, Kuşadası and Selçuk. Using these calculated indices and Run Theory, the duration, intensity and intensity of dry and wet periods were found. Finally, the trend analyzes of all of them were examined on the graphs and predictions were mad efor the future. For hydrological drought, indices were calculated using the standardized flow index (SRI) for a 3 month period by taking the flow data of Selçuk, and a forecast was made in terms of drought by looking at the trend analysis in the same way. As a result of the analysis, a positive meterological trend was concluded for Ödemiş and Kuşadası. While meteorologically dry and wet periods will continue in a balanced manner for Selçuk, it has been concluded that there is a risk of drought in hydrological terms.
