Abstract (EN)
Designed and controlled by Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) small scale biodiesel plant was constructed using 2 mm chrome-nickel sheet. To heat the tanks in the plant, double sided tank and heat transfer oil were used. The system was controlled by S7-1200 Siemens PLC. All control types of the system can be done with SCADA (running, stopping, changing operation parameters etc.) Heaters used for heating the tanks were commanded by Solid State Role (SSR). Motor drivers (inverters) were used for the mixers in the tank. The plant has been activated by successfully controlling and determined the fuel properties of waste cooking oil biodiesel was produced.
