Abstract (EN)
Resurrection is one of the core themes of the Qur'an. While the concept predominantly focuses on the afterlife, the Qur'an includes events in the worldly life that resemble the resurrection in the hereafter to demonstrate its feasibility and help individuals comprehend it. This study aims to examine these instances presented in the Qur'an in the context of resurrection. In the first section, the study explores the resurrection of sentient beings as evidence for the existence of the afterlife. This analysis is divided into two subcategories: the resurrection of humans and the resurrection of animals. The second section investigates the resurgence of nonsentient entities. The Qur'an highlights the resurgence of nature and the process of initial creation as proof of the afterlife's reality. The Qur'an uses various arguments to prove the afterlife, among which the most significant is the demonstration of events in this world that serve as analogs to the resurrection in the hereafter. These events make abstract concepts tangible and reinforce the belief in the afterlife among both the societies where they occurred and the Qur'an's broader audience. Exegetes have approached these resurrection events with great sensitivity, analyzing them meticulously and deriving numerous insights. This study incorporates their perspectives, ensuring the analysis remains contextually grounded. The research consolidates the resurrection events mentioned in the Qur'an under a single framework, synthesizing classical and contemporary exegetical views. It critiques these perspectives where necessary, aiming to fill existing gaps and provide a comprehensive understanding of the Qur'anic discourse on resurrection.
