Abstract (EN)

This study analyzes the verses in the Quran regarding water within the framework of the basic principles of hydrography science and tries to provide a perspective on these verses with modern ministry knowledge. The physics of water, ecological and socio-cultural dimensions are evaluated with the expressions in the Quran; basic hydrographic elements such as water problems, project waters, rivers, lakes, seas and wave movements are formally addressed. The thesis emphasizes the messages presented by the Quran in the face of contemporary issues such as environmental awareness, natural resource management and sustainability. A qualitative research approach was adopted, utilizing textual analysis, literature review, and comparative interpretation techniques. Drawing on the scientific exegeses of scholars such as Tantawi Jawhari, El-Naggar, Bucaille, and Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, the study demonstrates that the Qur'anic verses do not contradict science; rather, they align with and often foreshadow modern scientific discoveries. The findings indicate that the Qur'an presents a coherent and timeless perspective on hydrographic processes, underscoring its role as a universal guide.
