Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to examine the fluidity properties of the material in different casting temperatures, cross-section dimensions and casting applications with Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron (SGCI). For this reason, fluidity test was carried out according to different cross-section dimensions planned for casting temperature, metallurgical quality and working environment. Casting process was carried out in prepared sand molds, the effects on the fluidity values and the progress of the liquid metal in the section thicknesses determined under the changing casting process conditions were investigated. The walking dimensions of the molten material in the mold were determined according to the cross-section dimensions in the casting processes with sand mold in different casting conditions and evaluated with FlowCast Casting simulation software programs. For this reason, the fluidity and travel distances of the liquid metal were determined in the changing casting conditions in the materials determined within the scope of the study. In this study, sand casting, modelling, experimental design, microstructure investigation techniques were used.
