Abstract (EN)

The acceleration of trade on a global scale, the increase in competition and the fact that investors are turning their targets to foreign markets bring innovations in every sector. When the competition among the brands in the textile sector is carried to the global dimension, combined with the targets of increasing the sales figures and brand value, the store location has a critical importance for the success of the brands. In the study, it is aimed to with the Fuzzy AHP make a comparative analysis of COPRAS and TOPSIS techniques, which are among the multi-criteria decision-making techniques on the problem, in which country it would be more advantageous to make a global store location investment of a brand in the retail textile sector. Within the scope of the thesis, alternative countries in the working model were evaluated on the basis of criteria and the best alternatives for the benefit of the brand was revealed. In the thesis content, eight decision makers determined by the brand determined the importance weights of the five main criteria and eighteen sub-criteria using the Fuzzy AHP method, and the criteria-based evaluation of the six alternatives was compared with the COPRAS and TOPSIS methods.
