Abstract (EN)
Tunnels are important architectural structures that facilitate the passage of rough terrain on road routes, and they are frequently preferred especially in highways and railways. Lighting of the interior of the tunnel is very important in order to reduce the negative effect of the brightness change, if possible, to eliminate it. Tunnel structures, which are also frequently used in railways and highways, must be lighting sensitively to ensure passenger and driver safety. In this study, the features and details of the lighting design in the curved tunnels on the railway or highway transit routes are emphasized. Lighting designs realized in curved-axis tunnels are similar to lighting designs in linear-axis tunnels, but require that the armatures located on the inside of the slope and the fixtures located on the outside of the slope should not be the same in terms of total armatures flux. The difference in the armature flux of the armatures located inside the slope and the armatures located outside the slope ensures a more balanced lighting in the tunnel. In addition, the lighting at the tunnel entrances and exits is designed with gradual soft transition conditions during daylight hours, so that passengers and drivers using the tunnel structure are less affected by the zebra effect.
