Abstract (EN)
Corporate culture and corporate image which have been the subject of many researches, are today?s popular concepts. However, as a result of the review of the literature, limited number of researches which these two concepts are dealt with together, have been encountered. To resolve this lack, it was aimed to examine corporate culture and corporate image perceptions of college students and the relationship between these two concepts in this study. In addition, it is determined whether corporate culture and corporate image perceptions of college students vary according to gender, type of university (public and foundation) and department which students have studied and whether there is a relationship between students? satisfaction about the department which students have studied according to type of university (public and foundation), as well as department which they have studied. Hypotheses that are developed tested with a fieldwork. The sample of the fieldwork carried out in Manisa and İzmir consists of 454 college students from two public universities and two foundation universities.As a result of the analysis of data obtained from the research, the hypotheses that corporate culture and corporate image perceptions of college students vary according to gender, type of university (public and foundation) and department which students have studied, have been accepted and it has been determined that corporate culture and corporate image perceptions of male students are higher than female students, also culture and corporate image perceptions of students in foundation universities are higher than students in public universities. It has been determined that the students who studied at Department of International Trade and Finance have more positive corporate image perceptions than the students who studied at the other departments (Business Administration, Economics, Public Finance, International Relations) and the students who studied at Public Finance have more negative corporate image perceptions than the students who studied at the said other deparments. In assessing the corporate culture; it has been determined that the students who studied at Department of International Trade and Finance have more positive corporate culture perceptions than the students who studied at the other departments in question and the students who studied at Public Finance have more negative corporate culture perceptions than the students who studied at the said other deparments except those who studied at Department of International Relations. İt has been displayed that there is a relationship between students? satisfaction about the department which students have studied according to type of university (public and foundation), as well as department which they have studied. However, it has been found that there is relationship between corporate image and corporate culture.In line with the findings from the research, recommendations have been presented to develop positive corporate image and positive corporate culture perceptions of college students.
