Abstract (EN)

Changes in modern technologies have led to a decrease in the role of oil and threaten the well-being of oil-exporting countries. The oil and gas industry is the leading one in the economy of Libya, and the future of the country depends on its development. The corporate services quality (CSQ) idea gained popularity as a result of its influence on both consumers and workers (internal customers), particularly in terms of behavioral elements. Based on this, the purpose of the presented research is to determine the relationship between Corporate Services and Employees job satisfaction and to achieve all the objectives of this study, the following questions are stated: Is there any relationship between corporate services quality and employee Job satisfaction in Mellitah complex for Oil and gas of Libya? Is there impact for corporate services quality domains on employee Job satisfaction in Mellitah complex for Oil and gas of Libya? Which component of corporate services quality is dominating in Mellitah company for Oil and Gas of Libya? Are there significant differences between respondents incorporate service quality based on demographical variables? Are there significant differences between respondents in job satisfaction based on demographical variables? Four hundred (400) employees from the company were selected. Two scales to measure the main variables, service quality (SERVQUAL), and employees' job satisfaction (JS) are selected and the required validity and reliability are performed. The results revealed that service quality in the employees' levels of response fell in the range of less than the mid- level. Respondents showed higher level of agreement on the employees' job satisfaction in Mellitah complex for Oil and gas of Libya. Positively significant relationships between SQ and JS. The five domains, tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, were significantly positively correlated to employees' job satisfaction. The tangibles domain acquired the highest mean than the other SQ domains which gained less than the mediocre level. The higher level of internal service climate perceived by the employees resulted in a higher level of employees' job satisfaction in the working environment in the corporate under investigation. The most influential demographical variables were gender and education. Female respondents scored a higher mean score than male respondents on both scales. High educational level Employees scored higher mean scores on service quality and job satisfaction scales. It was one of the most important recommendations of the study: The Mellitah complex for Oil and gas of Libya should focus equally on factors in service quality not only on tangibles. That will help the corporate in paving the way toward a well working environment.
