Abstract (EN)

The field study of this thesis was conducted in June, July and August of 2017. The insects were collected by using dung baited pitfall traps in four different locations identified in Murat Mountain. As a result of the identification of 306 individuals belonging to Scarabaeinae subfamily, 14 species and three subspecies belonging to six subgenus were identified. Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) verticicornis Laicharting, 1781 was first recorded for the study area. Dominance, frequency percentage, of the species determined by this study were calculated. Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) lemur Fabricius, 1781 was the most dominant species with 30.72% and O. lemur Fabricius, 1781 and O. fracticornis Preyssler, 1790 were the most common species with 100% frequency.
