Abstract (EN)
Intensive interval studies are one of the most important training methods that determine the efficiency, success and quality of sportsmen by improving motor skills. There are intensive interval studies that are applied for various sports branches. However, it has been found out that there is limited intensive interval study in skiing in our country and no study has been carried out concerning skiers between the ages 14-16. Our study was carried out with subject and control groups of 20, in total 40 licensed volunteer sportsmen aged between 14-16 who take place in cross-country skiing team at Munzur Skiing and Nature Sports club and Youth Sports Club operating with Tunceli Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. Before conducting the research, the volunteer sportsmen were informed about the aim of the study, training programs and the measurement process. Sportsmen who participate in the study have continued their seasonal training programs and have trained 6 days a week. The test that we used in our study are 30 meters speed test, sit and reach flexibility test, Flamingo balance test, standing long jump, heart bloodstream functioning test, Cooper test, 30 seconds push-up, vertical jumping (anaerobic power test) and T-test. We acquired two different data applying pre-test and post-tests. One of the non-parametric tests, Wilcoxon test was used for the statistical analysis of the data. When all the results were evaluated by taking 0,05 significance rate, significant results were acquired in the pre-test and post-test measurements of the subject group that applied 8-week intensive interval training program. In the measurements of the control group who continued their normal training program, there were no significant results in 30 meters speed test, sit and reach flexibility test, flamingo balance test, heart bloodstream functioning test, Cooper test, 30 seconds push-up and sit-up test and vertical jumping anaerobic power test. Only in the standing long jump test, a significant result was acquired. Key words: Interval Trainings, Cross-country Skiing, Aerobic Capacity, Biomotoric Feature
