Abstract (EN)

This study was prepared between 2023 and 2024, taking into account the ethnobotanical characteristics of the Kızıldağ Yeniyapan and Bazlamaç Villages (Mucur/Kırşehir). Kızıldağ Yeniyapan and Bazlamaç villages are located in the B5 square according to the grid grid system. In the study, 64 people were interviewed about the plants known and used in the region. These people were asked questions such as the local names of the plants, their areas of use, how they are used, and the parts used. A total of 137 taxa belonging to 38 families in the study area were identified: 76 used raw or cooked as food, 68 as medicinal plants, 15 as animal feed, 20 as articles, 1 as an ornamental plant, 2 as a dye plant, 3 as a tea, and 4 as a spice. The distribution of taxa collected from the study area according to phytogeographic regions is as follows: 17 taxa are Irano-Turanian, 6 taxa are Mediterranean, 5 taxa are European-Siberian, and 111 taxa are widely distributed. Four endemic taxa were identified from the study area. In addition, 24 taxa are cultivated plants.
