Abstract (EN)

Self-consolidating and rubberized concrete are two concrete types exemined with different studies since 90?s up to now. Waste management, enhance of concrete ductility and obtain a lower unit weight are the major reasons of the use of rubberized concretes. However, the biggest disadvantage of rubberized concretes are known to be poor adherence between the rubbers and cement paste. Self-consolidating concrete is a high performance concretes with higher paste volume and powder amount (?0.125 mm) than the traditional vibrated concrete. Some of the studies have been made thinking that it is possible to overcome the adherence problem and prepare high strength mixes with the use of rubber aggregates in the self-comsolidating concrete recently.In this study, rubberized self-consolidating concrete mixes were prepared considering the contribute to flexural-tensile characteristics of self concolidating concretes having higher paste volume and parepared with the tire fibers. A total of six series of self-consolidating concretes, two of them are reference and four of them having different rubber replacement, were prepared in the study. Slump flow, V-funnel, L-box, J-ring and unit weight of fresh concrete were performed on the prepared mixtures. Unit weight, water absorption, porosity, ultrasonic pulse velocity, dynamic modulus of elasticity, compressive, tensile splitting strength, flexural strength and bond strength tests were performed on the mixtures poured in the moulds without vibrating. As a results, it is observed that self-consolidating rubberized concretes can be obtained, but filling and passing ability of the mixture were decreased with the increase of rubber replacement.
