Abstract (EN)
The ontological questioning in the history of thought is more about the basic principle on which existence exists, rather than the question of why we exist. Ever since man took his place in the field of being, he has never silenced his curiosity about knowing and making sense. Since the awareness of one's own existence has not yet been discovered in any of the other species, mankind has felt unique in the universe and could not resist to the idea that he is a sovereign power. The search for meaning developing on this axis is first built on self and consciousness. Apart from the physical factors of human beings, there are also mental activities which are thought to have nothing to do with the body. It is thought that what we perceive with sensory organs which reflect the material realm and what we cannot perceive reflects an intangible, abstract world. This is the main source of the soul-body problem. Therefore, in order to comprehend the essence of the issue, in the context of our subject, the traces of the views about human, soul-body relationship and consciousness in historical adventure are studied. The effect of this problem, which has occupied the philosophy of mind for a long time, in modern philosophy is explained by Leibniz's theory of monads, who is a rational philosopher.
