Abstract (EN)

The study was carried out to determine differences of yield an some quality characteristics in Uzunköprü–Edirne on sorghum–sudangrass (Sorghum bicolorL.) Moench x Sorghum sudanense (Piper) Stapf) and maize at different doses of leonardit in 2013. 3 commercial maize varieties (Mai Sadour-Calsio, Pioneer-31Y43, Genta-Samuray31) and 2 commercial sorghum–sudangrass varieties (Alfa Seed-Nutr Honey, Ulusoy Seed-Green Go) was used as experiment material. Plant height, leaf number/plant, fresh forageyield, hay yield, dry matter ratio, leave ratio, sibling number, crude protein ratio, crude protein yield and crude fibre ratio was determined. As a conclusion; plant height (136.9-158.8 cm), leaf number/plant (7.63-9.20pcs/plant), fresh forage yield (4939.1-6653.3 kg/da), hay yield (1264.6-1778.0 kg/da), crude protein yield (88.08-171.24 kg/da) has highest value on 16 kg/da leonardit dose , dry matter ratio(% 23.07), crude protein ratio(% 12.30) has highest value on 12 kg/da leonardit dose and sibling number (4.27 pcs/plant) has highest value on 20 kg/da leonardit dose was determined on increasing leonardit applications.
