Abstract (EN)

This study focuses on the Arab woman poet Layla al-Akhyaliyya, who was known for her beauty, strong personality and eloquence. She lived both in the first Islamic era and the Umayyad period and became well-known among the emirs and caliphs. Caliphs listened to her poems, such as eulogium or elegy, and gave her gifts and honors. This study discusses the poet's life and poetry, and also evaluates the notion and meaning of the artistic appearance in her poetry. The artistic aspects of Layla al-Akhyaliyya's poems on language, imagination, and style, such as repetition, contrast, and renewal, as well as rhetorical aspects such as metaphor, figurative expression, simile, and allegory, are mentioned. In particular, the rhetorical aspect has an important position in literary, critical and linguistic studies as it is the essence of literature, its artistic and aesthetic reflection.
