Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to determine the leadership qualities of female administrators operating in local governments and to determine whether female administrators differ from each other in terms of their qualifications, and if there is differentiation, in which areas it occurs. The fact that there are not many studies specific to women administrators working in municipal administrations as a local government organization, that existing studies do not focus on research in terms of qualifications and do not make comparisons makes the research to be conducted within the scope of this study remarkable and important. The question of the research was determined as 'What are the leadership qualities of female managers working in local governments?, Do they differ from each other, if yes, what kind of differences arise in which areas'. In order to find answers to these questions, the sample of the research consists of 10 female administrators working in Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Nilüfer Municipality, performing the duties of director, head of department and Deputy Mayor. The "phenomenological analysis" method was used in the analysis of the data obtained through interviews from the people included in the research sample, and the findings were discussed and presented in the relevant section of the study.
