Abstract (EN)
Objective: Lichen planus is an inflammatory dermatosis that affects skin and skin appendages. It was aimed to make interpretation on the necessity of routine investigation of diabetes mellitus, hepatit C, hepatit B at patients with Lichen Planus. Material and method: Records of the patients who were diagnosed Lichen planus hispatologically and clinically and followed at the Dermatology department of Cukurova University Medicine Faculty between 2008 and 2013 were investigated retrospectively. Findings: There were 86 (64%) female and 48 (36%) male patients. It was found that the female-male rate is 1.8. In the current study, it was found that anti-HCV positivity rate of the patients with LP is 1.5%; their HbsAg positivity rate is 4.5%; DM rate is 17.9%. Result: In the study, it was found that there is no significant relationship between lichen planus and diabetes mellitus, hepatit B and hepatit C. Due to the differences between the results of study, it is needed to similar studies at our country and the world.
