Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relation between thickness and dose that 6MV and 18MV x-ray transfers to bolus, rice and rice masscuite. Measurements were done with Siemens linear accelerator in Ankara Atatürk Göğüs Hastalıkları ve Göğüs Cerrahi Hospital. Using measurements linear attenuation coefficient is calculated for different bolus. Results were compared with some biological samples linear attenuation coefficients. A relationship between energy and linear attenuation coefficient for biological targets is recommended. Changes in linear attenuation coefficient due to energy are examined. Relation with thickness and target area is examined.
