Abstract (EN)
This thesis study consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, ordinary and partial differential equations and their classifications, nonlinear evolution equations and their examples are given. In the second chapter, tanh method is introduced in order to find exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations and some applications of this method is given. In the third chapter, sine-cosine method is defined which is used for obtaining soliton and periodic solutions. Also this method is applied to known nonlinear evolution equations. In the last chapter, tanh method, which is developed recently, is given and applications of this method is shown for nonlinear evolution equations and of equations systems.
