Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out with the aim of" Sportmenship orientation and aggression and anger level of secondary education students who have sport licence". The sample group of the research consists of 360 students who do sports under license in school teams who take students with the central examination system in Istanbul, whose percentile is 0.01 to 1, the top 10 secondary education institutions. Multi-dimensional Sportsmanship Orientation Scale (MSOS) adapted to Turkish language by Sezen Balçıkanlı (2010) was used to collect research data. The Aggression and Anger Scale in Sports which was adapted into Turkish by Gürbüz et al., (2019), was used to measure the level of aggression. Since the data for all analyzes were normally distributed, independent groupst-test was used to compare two unrelated samples. Comparison of more than two unrelated samples was made by one-way analysis of variance. As a result of the research, when the scores of secondary school students from the sportsmanship scale were evaluated, it was found to be high in all sub-dimensions. When the scores they got from the aggression and anger scale were evaluated, they were at a moderate level. It has been revealed that there is a negative significant relationship between the subdimensions of sportsmanship and aggression scales, and between the subdimensions of the sportsmanship scale and the aggression sub-dimension of the aggression scale. There was no statistically significant difference in aggression and sportsmanship levels according to the branch variable.
