Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to compile work sheets and activities based on 7E Model in the subject of Newton Laws in second grade high school physics classes, to instruct a class and to determine the achievement of the students at the end of the class. Two sub problems were examined for this study. This study was conducted on 63 students in two different classrooms in spring term of 2007?2008 academic year in Kalaba High School, Keçiören, Ankara. In this study, the answers of the students to Newton?s Law of Motion Research Test devoted to determine the students? achievement and Our Commentaries study developed by researcher was used.SPSS 11, 5 program was used to experiment the hypothesis of the research. According to statistical studies, it was concluded that there was a considerable difference between the classes instructed based on 7E Model and Explaining Method in Newton?s Laws subject. Consequently, it was determined that instructing a class applied to 7E Model which is a kind of learning model in Constructivist Approach was predominantly superior to Explaining Method in students? achievement. The result of this study, it is expected, will light the way for similar studies which will be carried out by researchers in the future.
