Abstract (EN)
Today, nanotechnology is used in numerous systems as well as in the battery systems. Herewith, it is also actively used in the production of cost-effective new generation batteries with a long lifespan and high energy density. The battery systems are one of the oldest methods for storing electrical energy in chemical form. With the rechargeable lithium-ion battery systems obtained by the development of these batteries has become a requirement due to the increased portable energy demand in systems such as electric cars, heavy military vehicles, mobile phones, laptops, and various portable small home appliances. Thereby, both the need for portable energy will be met and will be preferred by environmentally conscious consumers and designers due to the low level of CO2 gas emitted. In this study, firstly, we were obtained metal oxide nanostructures as a result of thermal decomposition using metal precursors (copper nitrate hemipentahydrate (Cu(NO3)2·2.5H2O), nickel acetate tetrahydrate (Ni(CH3COO)2·4H2O), and zinc acetate dihydrate (Zn(CH3COO)2·2H2O)). Then, by using the same metal salts, nanofibers produced by using the Electro spinning method in order to increase the surface area and efficiency. NiO, CuO and ZnO nanofibers, which will cover this thesis project, were compared with each other. It was determined that hybrid structures synthesized under different temperature conditions were not investigated in the literature For this reason, NiO-CuO, ZnO-CuO, NiO-ZnO combinations were synthesized with different calcination temperatures and the performances of these materials as anode were investigated. It is aimed at the use of lithium-ion batteries that would be formed with these metal oxide nanoparticles which have high theoretical performance as an anode material, will be improved for future electronic devices. The battery performance of metal oxide nanofibers was examined with parameters such as cycle capacity, cycle number and cycle rate, and the results were evaluated according to their efficiency and stability. It is aimed at the use of lithium-ion batteries that would be formed with these metal oxide nanofibers which have high theoretical performance as an anode/cathode material, will be improved for future electronic devices.
