Abstract (EN)

Lüzûmî, whose real name was Ahmed, was a Dîvân poet lived in XIXth century. His official life started in Diyarbakır where he was born and grown up and continued in Siirt and finally by returning his hometown he continued his official life as an accountant. While working as an accountant he died on 6th May 1893. It is understood from the language of his Persian and Turkish poems in his Dîvân that he was familiar with Farsi and Arabic languages. His Farsi masnavi named Yusuf Zeliha and his Dîvân, on which we studied are his two Works known. The only known copy of aforesaid Dîvân is in İstanbul Millet Library registered with an arcihive number of 34 Ae Manzum 384 which is consist of mostly ghazels. This study includes the transcribed text of Lüzûmî Dîvân and its examination. The thesis consists of introduction, three main parts and index. Keywords: Lüzûmî Ahmet, Diyarbakır, XIX.
