Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between impulsivity and disruptive behavior disorders in patients who have undergone an inpatient treatment for substance abuse. The study was performed on 100 substance abuser who is hospitalized in Balıklı Rum Hospital. The data obtained by the survey method is analyzed and interpreted in SPSS statistical package software. The survey form consists of Sociodemographic Data Form, Impulsivity Scale, and Screening Rating Scale for Disruptive Behavior Disorders. According to the results of the study, a significant relationship was observed between substance-use disorder and impulsivity levels. However, there was no significant relationship between substance-use disorder and disruptive behavior disorder levels. In addition, it has been shown that there is a significant relationship between impulsivity levels, income levels and education levels of these individuals and significant results were obtained with outpatient treatment. Similarly, significant results were obtained about the relationship between disruptive behavior disorder levels of individuals and their education status and their status on whether or not there has been a probation decision.
