Determination of drug addict adolescents of identity status

Abstract (EN)

In this study 55 addict and 56 normal totally 111 Turkish adolescent?s identity status, perceived parental acceptance-rejection and psychological adaptation had been compared 14 % of the random sample is female. According to the results of studies ; addict adolescents?s percantage point of identity achivement statuses are meaninfully lower then the control group;while being this dependent group?s diffused identity status points are expressively more then control group. The addict adolescents in comparison with normals; they are more aggressive, they have less self ? esteem, self-respect , less emotional sensibility and more negative world view. The identity achievement status points of the adolescents who perceived the acceptance which is related with their parents is expressively more then the refuse beholders. The adolescents who perceived refusement from their parents have clearly hight identity diffusion status point. 63% of the adolescents who are perceived refusement from their parents are drug addict. Addict adolescents perceived their fathers more neglectful ,agressive and they perceived patternal undifferentiated rejection behaviour.
