Abstract (EN)

The Kingdom of Macedonia, which holds a significant place in world history, is considered one of the most important kingdoms of the Ancient Era due to its transformation into a world empire and its creation of Hellenism culture that synthesized the east and west. The women within this kingdom did not hesitate to fulfill their responsibilities in order to ensure the strength and continuity of their dynasty, even engaging in battle when necessary. Indeed, Eurydice the wife of Amyntas III and the mother of Philip II, played a pivotal role in securing the throne for her sons, thereby setting a precedent for future generations. During Asian Campaign Alexander the Great, Olympias managed administrative affairs and, along with her daughter Cleopatra, actively engaged in the governance of the country. Following death of Alexander the Great, significant crisis emerged, during which Olympias and Cleopatra, along with other Argead royal women such as Kynna and Adea Eurydice, endeavored to establish their political influence.
