Abstract (EN)
In this study, the Wöhler curve is used to obtain the life-time equation of stress and deformation of iron-based materials subjected to fatigue. The equations are expressed mathematically. Numerical examples are given to confirm the mathematical equations derived from the Wöhler curve. In the examples; stress magnitudes, deformation and life analysis were performed. These numerical samples were examined in virtual environment with the help of finite element analysis program (ANSYS) and the results were compared with the results of mathematical equations derived from the study. A fatigue testing machine designed for operation is designed in a simple way. Extension recommendations for conventional tensile-fatigue machine design are made for deformation-related life analysis. Life equations were obtained for all possible stress types of machine parts by means of using Wöhler curve.
