Malezyadaki Ihvan Müslimin

This thesis investigates how Islamic Organizations in Malaysia have been impacyed the Muslim Brotherhood's ideology to achieve social and political agendas. In doing so, this paper makes a comparative analysis of three Islamic Organizations in Malaysia, which are PAS (Islamic Party of Malaysia), IKRAM (Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia) and ISMA (Malaysian Muslim Solidarity). It is done by first scrutinizing the founding history and ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Then, the analysis will be done by including how these Islamic Organizations in Malaysia perform their ideology of da'wa (preaching) and tarbiyyah(education) that they have impacted from Muslim Brotherhood. The political action, political statements, and social activities to achieve the political and social agenda of these organizations are also analyzed. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative research methodology which is case study. Analysis of its portal and website and observation of the movement on the ground are done. Movement documents, literature, newspaper and book published by the organizations are also analyzed. Key Words: Malaysia, Islamic Organization, Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood
