Abstract (EN)

In the business world open to change and development, human resources are always important despite technological developments. Excessive workload causes stress, burnout, negative physical and emotional responses when work requirements do not match the employee's abilities, resources, or needs. The profession of accountancy is one of the profession groups where excessive workload, job stress and burnout are seen as intense. The structure of the profession that requires a lot of attention and does not accept even a small mistake, long hours of operation, constant change of legislation, high proportion of liability, failure of taxpayers to be aware of their responsibilities for reasons like the perception of excessive workload and burnout levels of financial advisers is increasing day by day. In this study, it was aimed to determine the differences between the perceptions of excessive workload and burnout levels of financial advisors in two separate periods and to examine whether the relations between the perception of excessive workload and burnout levels differ periodically. A two-scale questionnaire consisting of 4 sections and 39 questions was applied in the research conducted with 110 financial advisors registered with Chambers of Certified Public Accountants of Adana. As a result of the analysis of the research, It appears that the financial advisers are working harder in April. Financial advisers felt more inadequate in April and they felt more workload in April. Financial advisers feel more emotional burnout in April. Financial advisers become more desensitised to their business in April. When we look at the relationship between excessive workload sub-dimensions and burnout sub-dimensions, a positive directional and meaningful relationship between emotional burnout and the perception of overwork, the perception of overwork, and the sense of inadequacy; a positive directional and meaningful relationship between despersonalization and the perception of overwork, the perception of overwork, and the sense of inadequacy has been identified in January. a positive directional and meaningful relationship between emotional burnout and the perception of overwork, the perception of overwork, and the sense of inadequacy; a positive directional and meaningful relationship between depersonalization and the perception of overwork, the perception of overwork, and the sense of inadequacy has been identified in April.
